All of us with unsupported computer don't have to worry. We can bypass compatibility check and upgrade to 23H2 using the ISO (for versions 21H2 and 22H2), see the relevant thread. If you run 22H2 you don't have to use the ISO and do a full time-consuming upgrade. You can install 23H2 Enablement Package and convert 22H2 to 23H2 in a couple of minutes! Most system files are common between the two versions and 23H2 are just disabled. The Enablement Package enables these features and switches 22H2 to 23H2 without a full upgrade, It is much better as it doesn't check compatibility, so no hack required to install it. Also there is no need to disconnect from the internet, as compatibility is not checked, so you can do it to a friend or relative by accessing their computer remotely (TeamViewer, AnyDesk etc) without having to visit!

Just make sure you download the x64 version (for Intel/AMD CPUs), not the ARM64 version.

I have Win11 installed on 1x "unsupported" pc (Has TPM2, Secure Boot, just 2016 Xeon), so I have always just done full iso re-install, for each new version.

In approx 6x months, I'll be doing the same for 24H2, as I do not have time, for excessive tinkering.

No problem, install 23H2 Enablement Package, if not already on 23H2, and you can upgrade to 24H2 later. See relevant thread for details.

Poor average Windows users (point and click experience :poop: ) - if they don't afford the hardware for upgrade (or don't need/want to - if current machine still capable enough) - 99.99% will learn the hard-way - that Windows 11 used on unsupported hardware is becoming an OS for Advanced users only. The majority are still on Windows 10 anyway - so maybe what that Windows dev said just for the sake of marketing (about Windows 10 being the last version of Windows) - could become reality. If they didn't move to Win 11 when the upgrade was easy-peasy - they definitely won't move now - when it's becoming an academic experience with mandatory :poop:.

The easiest possible way is to create a Windows USB flash drive with Rufus and clean install Windows 11. It is not that hard to download the ISO and Rufus. Then connect a USB flash drive, launch Rufus, open the ISO and start. Boot with that USB to clean install Windows. If you rather upgrade from Windows 10, disconnect from the internet and start Setup. Rufus doesn't work yet for 24H2, but it will be upgraded. In the meantime open a Run window and execute d:\setup /product server to bypass compatibility check. Replace d: with your USB drive letter. To see which one it is, load File Explorer and go to This PC.

PS: Bypassing compatibility check to upgrade to Windows 11 is a lot easier than installing Linux as some suggest. If you are having difficulties using Windows, stay clear from Linux, it is thousands times more difficult to use, let alone supporting much less hardware and software.
