Good PSU recommendations?

I'm looking to do a new build with the new Ryzen CPUs and X870E board, but also looking to future-proof a bit with a new PSU as I might want to get a 5090 as well.
I've always used Seasonic PSUs, they seem to be well liked and recommended.

My current unit is an Asus ROG Strix 1000W. I'd be looking at possibly a 1200W and PCI5/12VHPWR connector is a must.

I've seen an MSI MEG unit, this I think has Channel Well internals - would that be good or bad? It's over £300. Price isn't really an issue as long as it's decent.
Seasonic Vertex PX1200 Platinum looks good too, I've not seen it available in the UK yet. I've seen the Gold version (GX1200) available here.

Down near the bottom, on the left, you can choose some of the needed power supply connectors.

I'm a diehard Seasonic guy myself. That's all that I have been putting into PC's for years. Never had a problem with one.

Absolutely, go with a trusted brand every time.
I would never cheap out on a PSU anyway, too risky

Seasonic Vertex PX1200 Platinum looks good too, I've not seen it available in the UK yet. I've seen the Gold version (GX1200) available here.

I have the Seasonic vector 850W PX series, It is ATX 3.0, flexible cables, silent mode and is silent even with the fan running. I highly recommend it. They have a 1200W Vertex PX unit too.

Yes the Vertex PX looks good, doesn't seem to be available in the UK though

I have the Corsair RM1000e and am happy with it. It has enough power to run my 3060 RTX and 4070 RTX cards. It's also very quiet.

I've used mostly eVGA PSUs for the past few years. I looked for price/performance/length of warranty.

Sadly, the latest one I bought (Supernova 1600 G+) had a level of fan noise that I couldn't tolerate. Switching it to "eco" mode meant that the fan cycled on and off constantly, even when the PSU was lightly loaded.

I replaced it with a BeQuiet! Straight Power 12 1500W (80 Plus Platinum). It's an ATX 3.0 PSU. It includes the 16 pin 12VHPWR connector. It is indeed quiet, even when it's delivering 1kW. It has relatively few modular power jacks, but enough for my purposes. It's 180 mm long, and it's a single-rail PSU.

I have no idea who makes PSUs for BeQuiet!. I believe that some sellers (like Corsair) acquire their PSUs from multiple sources.

Buy one with a long warranty. I last bought an EVGA PSU having a 10 year warranty.

Any of the gold, platinum or titanium Seasonics are fine.
In fact, getting one with ATX 3 would be a good choice too.

I've found some now so will have a good look at the options. I won't be getting it just yet anyway but once the new CPUs and boards are launched I'll get all the new kit at once

I always use Corsair PSU's. Never had an issue with them. This is my current model, and it is excellent.
Seasonic are not available in the country where I live.
