Google....shame, shame on you. I'm glad I never used your browser.

Looks like Google will have to sell off Chrome due to pressure from another DOJ Antitrust Lawsuit and now the new class action lawsuit below.

According to the latest information in regards to the class action lawsuit, Google seems to be in a bit oh hot water as they have known for more than a year that their flagship browser (Chrome) is far from being able to be used to 'privately' surf the web 'Incognito'. In fact it wasn't a coding error or oversight but rather a thought out conscience decision to do nothing and hoping no one would notice. Whoops! All those who thought they were indeed being 'protected' were actually having their info captured and of course probably pilfered through and sold as well. Nothing new right?

The three users who initially found the evidence are in the process of procuring additional users who were under the same assumption as them. That's a boat load of users and the DOJ is all to happy to take on this task.

This kind of thing is far from new, however, knowing damn well it was left 'as is' without saying anything for monetary gain is just plain wrong. Smell the $$$ from the fine yet?

Your protected (LOL): How Chrome Incognito keeps your browsing private - Google Chrome Help

Something doesn't add up.

Yeah I usually don't post this kinda information, however, a lot don't know what they should know about something they use daily. For whatever it's worth......

Hi

Yeah no problem. It's also featured in the Holiday edition of Maximum PC magazine....page 10.

Honestly, it's all business and unfortunately where there is a will; the 'way' follows close behind.

OK, so really how bad is Chrome in terms of privacy? I tend to believe it's mostly just bandwagon hysteria, but that's just my humble opinion. I actually really like Chrome.
