I've only noticed in the last few hours that the Google search field is now double height in Firefox, but not in Chrome or Edge.
The microphone is also missing in Firefox, but not in Chrome or Edge.

I've tried deleting all Google cookies in Firefox, but it's still the same.
The first image is in Chrome or Edge and the second one is in Firefox.

After a bit more searching I found out that the microphone icon is not supported. I'm not worried about that.
The double height search field is odd though.

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update.

This doesn't make any sense Mine was, as I was signed-in.

I'm always signed-in and I'm the opposite, it's skinny, don't know what it is signed-out.

My only defense is it was getting late for me . . .
