Hi there
can't clean install as boot shows up as Ms bcd boot error after the "hit enter to boot from the CD" prompt -- same error whether I use secure boot or not, TPM enabled etc. This is on the current iso (dev) created via UUPDUMP. Boot works fine from the old "Leaked" W11 version.

Bonkers though Update from W10 VM works OK !!!!!!

Now trying an update with VMWARE WKS rel 16 from an older W10 VM --= first try and get to latest W10 then do the update.

Cheers

You should see the fiasco I had trying to upgrade leak to insider release.

It was brutal.

Now to start setting up my CompTIA VMs.....

I wonder what hte maxver for Hyper-V VMs is in Win11? Have to find out....

Hi there
Upgraded from an OLD version of W10 -- it ist upgraded to reasonably late version of W10 then did the W11 via WU.

Performance on VMWare WKS rel 16 though terrible !!!!!! I think VMWare virtual video driver is hosed up a bit and of course the Disk I/O virtual driver isn't the best !!! (Running on a decent NVMe)- even after running update vmware tools on the VM. QEMU/KVM light years ahead but I can "pass thru" some of the hardware so not a fair test.

HYPER-V W11 on Windows native machine with HYPER-V VM with GUEST W10 seems to work decently - GUEST on GEN 2.

Can't though install from scratch via ISO downloaded from UUPDUMP - I suspect I included too many editions in it - perhaps I should create one iso for each individual windows edition I want. System fails boot after the prompt "hit enter to boot from DVD / CD" but WU works OK.

Cheers
