PS - I have yet to meet a single person who is offended by the phrase Merry Christmas. This is pc bs at its best.

It is time we stood up to this garbage and properly recognise our national holidays.

I have no issue if e.g. I am told Happy Ramadan, Diwali, Stonehenge day etc.

Same here

We're going to have a small family get together. My wife, me, our son and my wife's brother. We had turkey for Thanksgiving, so we decided to go with ham. For New Year's we're going to have Corn beef and Cabbage.

Good choice I am on my own so will have Gammon and roast potatoes peas and gravy with plenty of mustard on the Gammon.

I had to look up Gammon. You made a very good choice. My mouth is watering thinking about Christmas dinner.

As a side note; I'm on a very long leave from work. If they decide to bring the few of us retirees back next year, I'll be off until April or May. I'm going to try and find a way to exercise and limit what I eat. Now that I'm older than what I want to be, I find myself binge eating.
