Solved Hedi SQL and remote EXCEL query broken on Dev rel

probably @z3r010 is the best to answer this.

Can;t get any more connection via HEDISQL or excel data query to a Mariadb running on the Host system from a VM on the same host any more . No problem connecting to it via another remote machine though. Other Host /VM communications no problem e.g samba, ftp etc.

SSH from direct from the windows VM to the host and console command for mysql shows db server working and acessible and ping also work s!! so ???

Any ideas -- nothing changed on the HOST system, just the VM was updated to the latest beta release.

I suspect its something with the Vitrual network between guest and Host.

Remote works perfectly (people usually get problems the other way around but I can always break things it seems !!!).

Finally fixed it -- deleted virtual adapters completely, re-installed via HOST update and it's working now -- problem was with the virtual network adapters.




marking as solved. (Bad / out of date virtual NIC drivers).
