Since I upgraded to Win 11 about 3 months ago, I have struggled with a hidden memory leak issue. I say "hidden" because although the Task Manager says 97% RAM usage, I can't fight the culprit. The largest user of RAM is Chrome, with around 2GB out of 64 GB on my Dell XPS 9700 (I am sorting my apps in Task Manager by memory usage). Unless multiple instances of apps with low RAM usage duplicate themselves at the bottom of the app list, I can't find one particular app using all the RAM. I thought it was related to Adobe (maybe cloud sync) for a while. I could repeat the RAM issue by opening one of the many apps I use. Adobe Rush was apparently the most obvious one kicking off the high RAM usage. But I just restarted my laptop without having ran Adobe Rush. (BTW, I also have MacBook M1, and on it, Adobe does have a memory leak, identifiable this one is - but this story is for another thread on a different subreddit).
My questions for the community:
Can memory leaks be hidden as in I can't see them in Task Manager?
