Solved High Disk Usage by Edge's IndexedDB Subfolder

Running the Stable release of Edge on Win11 Beta. Using WInDirStat to examine my C: drive usage and I note that there is about 15GB being used by Edge with a subfolder of IndexedDB, most of it under a particular chrome-extension. This seems rather inordinate to me, but I've not been able to find any good info on which extension causes this though I suspect Malwarebytes Browser Guard because when I plug the "bojo...." stuff into a search I do get a hit on that, though I don't' find the actual characters in the web page. Any insights fellow campers?

Have you tried to see if that id no. is listed in Edge under Settings > Extensions. Go to the Extensions page by entering edge://extensions/ in the URL bar. Normally all user added extensions show id no.'s next to the individual extensions.

(If it doesn't show up there, there are a couple of other ways to try and find the name.)

15G seems like an awful lot to cache, don't cha think?

Yes, that seems a lot! Perhaps, anyone else who is using that extension might have some idea as to what is going on.

Welp, I tried their suggestion to clear cache (which I had already tried) and that did not do the trick. I then played a hunch and removed the Browser Guard extension from Edge. That did the trick and immediately freed up the 14GB in question. I've reinstalled Browser Guard and will keep an eye on it, and I also suggested that maybe they might have a wee bug in their application...
