How Do I get notification badges on my account?

ok so, on TenForums, when I was tagged in a post, or i got a reply to a post, or got a PM, I would get a badge icon up in the notification bar. I was wondering how to go about activating those instead of getting emails of everytime I get one? Do I choose Alert or Push?

This is different software to Ten forums so the features are not the same, you would be best enabling push notifications and turning off email - threads that you are already receiving email for will need to have the emails turned off on the watched page which can be selected on the top navigation bar.

Ok. I messed with some settings. We'll see if it works. Gonna take some time getting used to this new software. What software is this?
