Can't you simply right-click to unpin all the clutter you don't want?
Or, as an alternative you can:
Go to 'View' > 'Show' > 'Navigation pane' = uncheck
Set FE to show 'Quick access', add drives to QA if they aren't showing, and then right-click to unpin unwanted clutter except your drives from Quick Access.
