How do I stop Windows 10 from downloading Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.22000.51 (co_release)

Unfortunately, my computer has an Intel Core 7 processor and no TPM.
Windows 11 requires Trusted Platform Module (TPM) version 2.0.
I have done some preliminary checking and apparently my motherboard does not support TPM.
If I decide to go ahead with the upgrade I will have to (at least) replace the motherboard or purchase a new computer (laptop).
I won't be making that decision soon so my question is: How do I stop Windows 10 from downloading Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.22000.51 (co_release)?

Thanks

I think you have two choices:

1) The best option (which I did) I did a complete fresh install of Windows 10 downloading & mounting the ISO within Windows. This in effect wipes the drive and you leave the Insider program. You would need to reinstall all your programs, of course (I have mine all backed up so it's easy)

2) You could 'Pause' updates which I used to do until a build of interest comes out. Further details here . However that's fairly pointless unless Windows 11 spec lowers to your PC hardware...eventually you will need to do a fresh install or return Windows to how it was before you joined the Insider program (a backup, if you have one!).

Happy to be corrected, if incorrect

I take it that you're in the Dev ring of Insiders. (I'm not.) If I understand things correctly, they are the only ones receiving Win 11 builds at this time.

You can choose to stop receiving all future Insider builds.

You can also make some Registry changes to take your PC out of Insider flights. reg changes (That may not be the best possible site.)

I'm not sure how applicable all of this if you're on one of the Dev Windows 10 builds. Doing a clean install would be the most robust way of getting out of the Insider program. I believe that it's also the means that Microsoft officially requires.

Short Answer - leave the Insiders Preview.

Longer answers above - put it on temporary hold, or change to release preview so you won't get any new builds any time soon. But be sure to pay attention so you know when the first WIn11 Release Preview comes out.

according to this Insider Blog, Murray, you may continue receiving Windows 11 builds, or you may be moved to the Release Preview Channel for Windows 10 Currently Windows 11 may run on your machine even though unsupported, mine does

I was (finally) able to receive Windows 11 thru the Release Preview Channel.
