Solved How to display desktop wallpaper at 100% quality of the original image?

I wonder, is it even possible? Currently the only solution is to use 3rd party app, like:
Use stunning live wallpapers on your desktop. Animate your own images to create new wallpapers or import videos/websites and share them on the Steam Workshop!
store.steampowered.com
JPEGImportQuality tweak might help , but it does not really solve the issue.

Unfortunately that does not work, the image is still blurred. It looks like some kind of antialiasing being applied.
The same blurry effect applies when taking jpg screenshot of the original image, but bmp screenshot works.
Gyazo nor XSplit are also unable to record any change, so they use the same image compression?

You have to actually download the image to see the difference (hair), even the browser is unable to display it.

Hi,
Never understood why ms thinks jpg's are large files
Most are not unless they come off a camera and even then settings must be changed to do it otherwise they would be raw file type not crappy jpg's

Thanks! I traditionally prepared the wallpaper pictures in full-screen BMP format because it was default in earlier versions of Windows. Indeed, now Windows converts original picture to TranscodedWallpaper (it's JPG, but without extension) even when original file is available any time. As I just tested, original PNG is converted to another PNG with less size, apparently by reducing transparency plane (24-bit BMP -> 32-bit PNG by Paint -> 32-bit BMP with less size as TranscodedWallpaper). But wallpaper does not need transparency, so it's OK.
