Solved How to eliminate "Some settings are managed by your organization"

Finished setting up and configuring a new Surface 3 laptop wind Windows 11 Pro for my personal use, no domain. Have found a number of instances of not being able to set some things in Personalization Settings either greyed out of with this notification. Any ideas on how to eliminate it.

This usually means you have set some group policy or regedir e.g. disabling the lockscreen.

Have looked through Group Policies, was unable to find any entries that would control this.

With the attached batch script you can enable or disable Lock Screen.

Tried and failed, didn't change anything, thanks for the try.

Try this:

1. Open command prompt with admin permission
2.Execute these commands then restart the computer
reg delete "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies" /f
reg delete "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\WindowsSelfHost" /f
reg delete "HKCU\Software\Policies" /f
reg delete "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Policies" /f
reg delete "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies" /f
reg delete "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsStore\WindowsUpdate" /f
reg delete "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\WindowsSelfHost" /f
reg delete "HKLM\Software\Policies" /f
reg delete "HKLM\Software\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Policies" /f
reg delete "HKLM\Software\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies" /f
reg delete "HKLM\Software\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsStore\WindowsUpdate" /f

You can use O&O ShutUp10++ to apply factory settings.

Found the easy fix after searching Group Polices again. Was enabled, not anymore. Thanks for all the suggestions.
