Earlier today I was busy with an app and I noticed a notification gizmo slide in from the lower right corner about some driver updates. I disregarded it as I was sure WU would grab them, but it hasn't so am wondering where I look for them on my Surface Pro 10 tablet.

I've not known of Windows Update giving a notification when driver update is available. If you have the Surface app installed, it is probably what sent the notification so check your all apps list for it.

3rd party driver update apps will also send notifications. Do you have one of those installed?.
I would never use any 3rd party app to update my drivers, especially on a Surface.

Latest drivers are regularly added to this thread to assist Surface users as well. New drivers for Surface Pro 10 for Business on Windows 11 and 10 - April 23

You can check Windows Update > Advanced Options > Optional Updates
Sometimes drivers will show in there.

Are you sure it was a driver update notification? Maybe a software got updated message?

Click on the Taskbar Bell icon and look at the top of the notifications panel. Messages that fly out of the bottom right will usually show there. They don’t always give a lot of info though.
