How to Make Taskbar Document List Vertically

Documents in the taskbar are listed horizontally not vertically. How to make them be listed vertically?

Do you mean the Taskbar itself is vertical? Up the side of the screen?

See the Orb in the taskbar. In Open Office documents are listed when you hover over that orb. Mine list horizontal, not vertical like normal

Hmm, not sure what you mean by "the Orb"? Is this the Taskbar icon for OpenOffice (not everyone has this program installed).

The blue globe in the taskbar, when clicked, opens up documents that are to be viewed vertically (up & down) but they can only be read horizontally. Need a fix for that problem. The vertical versus horizontal feature is not open office controlled. Windows controls the vertical versus horizontal feature.

I think you'll need to post some screenshots for any of this to mean anything to others.

If you really cannot take screenshots at all then I suggest you investigate that problem first and only then come back to this one.
You could post photos of the screen instead

OK, getting a bit of an idea.

The "blue orb" is the OpenOffice program icon that appears in the Taskbar when program components of OO are running (like Writer, Calc, etc or multiple versions of the same component, like when 2-3-4 etc documents/spreadsheets/etc are open at the same time).

Mouse-over the icon and the preview/thumbnail window(s) appear.

The settings for what you want that were in previous versions of Windows are no longer in Windows 11. You will need addons like ExplorerPatcher and StartAllBack, et al.

You can say that is what the orb is. When you hover over it with your mouse pointer small documents appear that when clicked enlarge into full size documents.

Yes, that is the Idea alright. In Oo Open office they were vertical until one day they became a not-so-good horizontal. By but yours look good.

I would prefer horizontal though.

Yeah, that's the idea. Not sure whether they will cover up the taskbar (horizontal) or something else (vertical)

So how do I set up the document Icons that you displayed?
