How to remove the search hover menu?

I already disabled search box suggestions and removed the Bing search results. (Thank you for those threads!) But, I still get a few items when hovering over the search icon on the taskbar. (See the attached screenshot.) Does anyone know how to remove that and still keep the search icon on the taskbar? I'd like to keep the icon, because I'm accustomed to using it. But, those hover menu items are invasive, and they show up as soon as you go to use the icon! This is Windows 11 Home Version 21H2, Build 22000.556.

Did you check the following:
Settings -> Personalization -> Taskbar and under "Taskbar behaviors" there's an option for "Show recent searches when I hover over the search icon" that you can turn off.

Not sure that'll help.

I don't get that option! (See the attached screenshot.) Also, I never searched for those things, so I don't think they're coming from recent searches. Maybe MS is testing some AI thing (or something or other) with those three items?

You didn't list your Windows 11 version, sorry about that... the option I mentioned is in a newer (beta) build, thought it was older
