How to share samba folders across subnets

I am installing a set of IP cameras on a subnet along with a Windows 11 machine that will be running Blue Iris security camera software. The cameras and the Win11 machine are physically located on the same switch and connected to the router on a single RJ-45 port. The openWRT router is configured to put all of the devices connected to that RJ-45 port in their own VLAN. So the cameras and Win11 machine get IP addresses in the 192.168.226.x subnet and everything else gets put in the 192.168.1.x subnet. If I connect to the router remotely through a VPN, that comes through as 192.168.10.x.

The problem is that the the windows file sharing does not work properly across subnets.

I was finally able to get it to connect to a WinXP machine after I set the WinXP machine to allow a connection scope that included the camera subnet. However, the XP machine and other Win11 machines and Linux machines cannot connect back to the Win11 BlueIris computer.

This same win11 machine was connecting to everything perfectly fine when it was in the main 192.168.1.x subnet.

Is there any way to fix this so that other computers can access the files on the Blue Iris Win11 machine?

Thanks.

I forgot to mention that the router is properly configured and I can ping/tracert back and forth across subnets with no problem.
