I'll agree with z3r010 and say OneDrive is definitely the easiest of anything that anyone suggests below. a logical analysis of my previous statement shows that I am not saying other methods are hard, just that this is the easiest - IOW, there are plenty of easy ways to do it but by far this is the easiest of all the easy methods.

OneDrive, Dropbox, etc. Have them target the entire folder if that's what you're aiming for, just make sure you have enough space on the service first.

I cuurently use G Drive to sync , but only on one computer. Cannot figure how to sync to second computer.
Would prefer to stay with G Drive becuase I only have 10 Gig to sync and GDrive is free to 15 Gig.

If you have the Google Drive app installed on both computers, make sure they are logged into the same account.

On the first computer, click the little Google Drive icon in your system tray and click the Cog symbol in the upper right. Click Preferences. and when the little screen opens, click "Add Folder" and navigate to the folder containing what you want to sync.

This is already done for me to sync the first computer. I can't figure out how to sync the second.

On the second computer, click the Google Drive icon, click the Cog in the upper right, click Preferences... On the same screen you added the folder on system 1, instead on the left you should see "My Laptop" (or similar) and "Google Drive"... click Google Drive and make sure "Mirror Files" is checked. That 'should' do it.

Did not work.
How do I tell it what file to sync to an second computer?

You can't select individual files, you have to select the folders themselves.

If that didn't work, it may be something to do with the way GD updated itself a while back to use the 'special' drive instead of a default folder. I'm unsure how to get around that since I don't use it to sync multiple systems.

I had this working a few weeks ago until I made some hardware changes, but don't know how. I've searched and read at least 25 articles on this and viewed about 12 videos. I've spent at least 20 hours on this! No one can tell me how to do this.

When you go to Drive and click on the Settings gear, and then click on Preferences, do you see something like this?

On System 2, try clicking the "Add Folder" and select something, that should be the starting place for the files from System 1 to be located when they sync.

Guys,

I've invested enough time in this to have written the GD program....and I'm not a programmer. I've given up and implemented another solution.

I am using GD to real time sync Documents from my computer1 to GD. I'm using AOMEI Backupper (that
I use for routine Backups) to 2 way sync Docs Folder on CPU1 to CPU2, across network. All seems to be workin well.
