Windows 11
Hello everyone!
Has anyone been able to install and use this printer?

I created the USB port manually, restarted the machine. After that, I installed Windows 10 drivers as we don't have them available in Windows 11.

I have the test page printed, the document goes to the print queue and disappears, as if it had been printed, but it wasn't.

Any tips?

Does it have any other method to connect besides USB?

Also, the usual suspects - different USB port, different cable....

No... This printer only has one USB port...

I did try to change the port and cable, anyway, this port and this cable work perfectly in Windows 10.

Still struggling with USB port and HP Laserjet P1005 settings, but evolving...

2021-07-01_16h35_13.png2021-07-01_16h36_24.png

I went to the HP website and downloaded the drivers for Windows 10 x64, (the website detects the operating system being used).

After that, I extracted the drivers using 7zip...

I performed the "Have Disk" installation...

And so, now I can print normally, both local and remote (over my local network)...

I use the HP1005 in Windows 10 without any problems (see below). I think I just used the basic driver on HP's web site - ljP1000_P1500-HB-pnp-win64-en.exe
