Solved I accidently clicked on an ad that appeared on my Inbox

On my iPhone, I use my free MS account to access my emails using Outlook for iOS.

Of course, the free MS Account will indeed have Ads especially in the Outlook app and would appear as a legitimate new message in the Inbox.

I accidentally clicked on this Ad but I did NOT click anything within the Ad content.

Do you think my phone is infected with malware?

I don't believe that just viewing the ad would infect your phone. However, clicking on it let them know that you exist and open spam. So you might expect a bunch of spam with bogus ads. I have four email addresses and only one gets occasional spam. However, my email client filters those email and strips out any images, links, and puts it in the Spam folder. From their I can either just delete them or block any future email from that address. Right now I have 1,000 blocked addresses. I would have more blocked addresses, but 1,000 is the limit for Yahoo mail.

No. Nothing bad can happen by just viewing the text in an email.
