I like Deepin for it's ease of use. I just downloaded Deepin 20.9 and am going to install it in a VM for testing.

Either Linux Mint or Manjaro Linux, both are excellent distros, with a lot of packages and support forums.
And you can install Deepin desktop in either too.
Do not know about support to Deepin, especially it being Chinese !

Thats a 64bit processor

That is ODD. When I first tried to install Win 10 64 bit it wouldn't let me saying it was 32 bit. If this CPU is 64 bit capable Why can't I install a 64 bit OS? I put Deepin 64 bit on a USB with Rufus and I couldn't boot into it. I'm creating a Linux Mint 21.2 USB as I type. I really wont to make this box a Linux Box.

Nothing new! I have several old PC's that have AMD 64 bit cpu chips, but obviously a 32 bit BIos, and will have nothing to do with anything 64 bit.
No problem, I just load Windows 10/Pro/32 and life goes on.

The old HP laptop I'M on right now, falls into that category. Win 11, loaded but then took a dump!
Windows 10/Pro/32 is running like a champ, on a new SSD that I just installed today.

Properly set up, Windows 10/32 can be just as useful as Win-11.

Good find!
Good Luck!

My Computer

The empty case alone is worth ten bucks easy. They don't make 'em like that anymore. In fact, I could use a few more like that. I recall about ten years ago buying an ACER computer for 80 bucks. It had a 1TB 3.5" hard drive and a Win 8.1 OS and came with a pile of peripherals, including a fax machine (which I never used). It was probably the best 80 bucks I ever spent on used computer parts. I use it for watching documentaries in my bed room or just listening to music. The ruddy thing refuses to die! I probably should upgrade it to Win 10 but it's been working out so well I just never bothered. It would probably die of shock if I tried to upgrade it. Some of these used deals are the best thing going.
