Are you as irritated by that message telling you to upgrade to PowerShell 7? I finally ran an Internet search, and found a YouTube video that provides these steps:
1. Start the Windows Terminal as Administrator
2. Click the down-arrow next to the New Tab (+) item, and select Settings (Gear icon)
3. In the bottom-left corner, click on 'Open JSON file'
4. In the resulting window, either press CTRL+F to open the search dialog where you can enter 'commandline' (no quotes), or scroll down until you see this:
"commandline": "%SystemRoot%\\System32\\WindowsPowerShell\\v1.0\\powershell.exe",
5. Edit this line as follows:
"commandline": "%SystemRoot%\\System32\\WindowsPowerShell\\v1.0\\powershell.exe -NoLogo",
6. Click 'File' (in the Menu bar) then 'Save' to save your changes.
7. Close all the open windows, then re-open the Windows Terminal to see that that irritating message is gone!
