Agreed.
I beat up Edge, blocked it in Bitdefender's firewall, then made Firefox the default browser.

Every now and then, late at night, I hear Edge whimpering.

But I don't care. :D

Not designed for Win11 but have found da2x/EdgeDeflector good for keeping the young whipperSnapper Edge in check on all versions of 10.

Of course my default is Edges big brother, Chrome, so that may be a factor

I've had no noticeably issues thus far synchronizing a Firefox ightly profile, a Firefox Stable profile and 2 Edge profiles, even with them open all at the same time.

Is this happening across all three released builds now?

If you make a new profile in Edge and then enable sync does it muck up Fx again?

Happened to me a lot lately in Chrome.
But that is just a bug that can be fixed on the next update. It is not a reason to quit.

I purged Windows of Edge right before updating to 11, haven't seen it since!

Yeah, it is not my preferred browser. I use it as a backup to Firefox in case Firefox breaks some site. For instance an update broke HD video streaming from Amazon (only SD would stream). Firefox fixed it in a few days - even though it was the widevine plug-in at fault.

Well after seeing what is coming to Windows 10, I decided to stay with Windows 11, For me it is faster in all possible ways. Only one Upgrade per year is also great!(y) @badrobot that is a great Signature:thumbsup:!

And for a welcome back present... check out the MS Store app TranslucentTB. Gives you a clear taskbar.
Does a lot of other stuff, but I just left it at "Open at boot" and "Clear". Both were on by default.
