Hi

This might help people that has problems like me. The steps are simple:

1- Uninstall your thrid party security software then reboot
2- Make sure TPM enabled
3- Make sure all your drivers updated
4- Temporary remove all unnecessary startup apps
5- Use Windows 11 Installation Assistant from here
It will save you time as the update might fail first time so using this tool will save the downloaded version and just try to reinstall it again
6- After update installed go to system > storage > cleanup recommendations and select old windows files and press clean up

Now I see new strange partition FAT32 created

What is this ? and why they created this FAT32 system partition ?

What is this ? and why they created this FAT32 system partition ?
It is not unusual to see a Fat32 partition. A clean install will always create one for the EFI partition, an essential requirement for booting any UEFI/GPT machine. In Disk Management it is clearly identified as the EFI partition, Macrium Reflect however just reports it as a Fat32 partition.

What is unusual is that is is normally 100MB and located at the start of the disk. Here's mine, a clean install of Windows 11 21H2:

Another unusual thing is that there is normally a small 16MB unformatted MSR partition, not shown in Disk Management, but visible in Macrium Reflect.

fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update.

Yes, I agree, although not the typical layout it has everything it need to work properly. This unusual layout may be a consequence of using the Instalation Assistant rather that the more usual method of an install USB made by the MCT as I did.

5- Use Windows 11 Installation Assistant
