I think I figured out the white icons, but I'm STILL getting blank icons on the taskbar... Go into the Start Menu, down to Snipping tool, click on it and it runs fine. BUT, down on the taskbar, instead of a Snipping Tool icon, I get a blank (empty) icon with just the little bar that's under the icons for things that are open.

Interested to say what people think about this, as I have had this before as well - duplicate and white icons in the main program listing - but it was on one specific machine which was old and technically shouldn't be running Windows 11. Never did solve it. I suspect something to do with graphics driver maybe.

Just use the command line, cmd.exe

1- Refresh icon cache: ie4uinit.exe -show (enter)
2-Restart explorer: tskill explorer (enter)

Your icons should be all there.
