Agreed. ^^

Back in the early 2000's gamers made a BIG mistake by putting up with DLC (downloadable content), which gave large companies the idea that we would put up with subscription voodoo.

BIG mistake.

Agreed as well. Personally I don't see why we need a large change of UI again and what for the pushing of AI is needed.
I certainly will try to change the UI back to how I like it (and how I'm accustomed to) by adding or changing strings in the userChrome.
If that would not be possible anymore I know where to go.

Vivaldi for me is the most customizable (alternative)browser at this moment, that is supporting Dutch language as well. It has some disadvantages like being rather slow when using Stylish to modify the styles of much-visited sites, but that would still be better than all the rubbish AI is bringing and a possible huge UI-change.
