Up until a couple months ago, even though I was within an enterprise managed setup, I was able to run as a member of the Admin group which seem to keep all the Insider program options and updates occurring. I did not that there was a standard windows update button and then a second button one could chose that woudl point to MS for updates (which is where the Insider updates would only come from.
A couple months ago I had to fully "join" the family which meant the loss of being a member of the Admin group. I no longer see the second Update button. And since then not a single windows update has occurred.
I have now have support to test OS software (Insider Builds) but we need to get it working. On their end they put me in a special "ring" that include insider builds. From there end there should be nothing restricting.
On my end I do not see any mention of Insider program.
Is it possible to be a member of the Insider program and get insider builds and NOT be a member with Administrators group?
Is there a way on my end I could see the MMS (... the new Group Policy) restrictions effecting my account?
Thanks for any help.
