I would welcome any comments on whether or not I should install Windows 11 now. On the famous 1 to 10 scale, I would rate my computer skill as 7. I have a fully provisioned Intel NUC which will accept Win 11. I know my way around Win 10, but I don't want to wade into deep waters if 11 still has a lot of rough edges. What do you recommend?

    Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 13 years?
Windows will always have rough edges. All OS will. If your NUC is compliant with Win 11 make a backup image of your system and give Win 11 a try. If you don't like it or if something goes wrong, you can always use your image to revert back. If you have any problems or questions, feel free to ask us for help.

If you want a really easy way to test drive Win 11, simply setup a VM with 11 on it and give it a little test drive. This way you'll get a good feel for the basics and can make up your mind as to whether to actually update your system to 11 or not.
