I have two new Windows 11 pro 23H2 machines:

1728723597791.png

I tried to install:
-with the installation assistant
-with usb stick installation media
-with ISO installation media

Impossible to complete the installation.

On a Lenovo X1 Carbon 8th generation che installation to 24H2 was flawless (with ISO installation media).

Here SetupDiag output:

I've tried many tricks (troubleshooter windows update, etc.) but without success...

Please help, I'm stuck :(

First, check your date and time.
That same error code is used for several issues but according to the information the log is throwing out. it's squawking about a driver but is not helpful enough to tell the user which one so finding it is not easy. The logfile says Failed to create driver config in logfile
The offending driver may be an active driver OR an old unused driver left behind in driverstore. It can also be a driver some piece of software installed.

1. Run update troubleshooter settings>system>troubleshoot>other troubleshooters>windows update>run

2. Run disk cleanup in administrative mode (search disk cleanup) right click on disk cleanup (system) app from search results & select run as administrator) Scan C: drive. In the list of files to delete, make sure "delete driver packages" is checked.

If that doesn't allow the upgrade, you'll have to dig deeper to try to find the offending driver. Check Information in this thread.. 24H2 Error

Still no joy, backup your data and clean install as I did. I got tired of messing with it.

Note: Whether any more direct info about this offending driver could be gained from running your files through a log file analyzer, I do not know.
Maybe @zbook can tell you. He does most of that stuff here. He will advise you what to do if he thinks it would be of benefit.

Reading another thread I tried something I hadn't tried before.

In the end the update was done correctly by mounting the Windows 11 24H2 ISO image and running setup.exe.

I can't imagine what was preventing the installation, but now both my machines have installed Windows 24H2 without any problems.

Thanks again for the valuable advices.

P.S.: on both machines I didn't have a Microsoft account but only a local account.

Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 13 years?
I apologize but I forgot to say the most important thing: I DISCONNECTED BOTH PCs FROM THE INTERNET.

Without doing this, for both PCs, I was absolutely unable to upgrade to 24H2.
