I know many of you will suggest Revo Uninstaller but it is not free.

I am presently waiting for the giveaway version of Soft Organizer 10 and it has been 6 months.

Never heard of it, never read a member or anyone anywhere mention it.

Go Revo, Geek is apparently OK also.

Just to add that many members in many posts, when a thread is made that may entail the removal of a Microsoft App or a software, recommend Revo Uninstaller Free.

Buy the pro version and use its full capacity
it also has a very professional Windows startup manager which shows you registery/ services/ scheduled tasks/ and all other startups in one place.
Revo temporary file remover satisfies me because it can clean "all" temp files with one click. better than other cleaners which cause problems and instability after using. I'm using this app for years and never had any problem after running the temp cleaner.
but I will never use CCleaner or Wise system optimizer & ...

Recommendation: check Revo settings and modify them based on your need after installation.

I do have the pro version. Not everyone can afford it. The free version works just fine.
I know how to use Revo, pretty well.

As you guessed, many on this forum will immediately recommend either the 'freeware' or the paid Version of Revo, probably because it has long-term familiarity and proven reliability on it's side. I have also used the portable 'free' version over many years and have had no negative experiences (that I can remember), but there are many other options worth considering, including Geek Uninstaller, although that is only free for personal use and, like Revo, also has a paid version, with support and additional options.

My personal alternative 'freeware' is the Hi-Bit Uninstaller - HiBit Uninstaller

But, if you want to try another fully 'free to use' altenative, which attracts positive reviews, I would suggest the OpenSource BCU (Bulk Crap Uninstaller) as a possible option - https://alternativeto.net/software/bulk-crap-uninstaller/about/

I have Revo Pro 5.3.4.0 which is no longer updated. The latest version is 5.3.7.0. Am I better off keeping the no longer updated 5.3.4.0 or the latest version of Revo Free?

I suggest iobit Uninstaller. I have the pro version. Not only deletes the main program but gets rid of leftover residual items in registry

    I didnt include full specs. But you can get the general idea of what kind of computer iam using
Soft Organizer Pro 10.10 by ChemTable.

I am presently using version 9.56. Pretty good Uninstaller. I think I will wait a while more for version 10.10. They usually give away their software once a year.
