Is there a way to delay the timing of a key stroke?

I always have this timing problem when hitting the shift key for a capital, i know there is a way to change the mouse movements but don't find anything to control the keyboard keys.

You could play with this but I don’t really understand what it is that you want to do.

Press the Win + R keys together and type "control keyboard" in the text field of the Run dialog that opens.

Click Enter. This will open the keyboard properties window, where you will see the option to adjust the Repeat delay and Repeat rate. The Repeat delay allows you to set the delay between you press-holding a key and the initiation of the repeated output of the key. The Repeat rate allows you to adjust the speed at which this output is repeated.

Take note of its current settings before you adjust anything so you can go back to how it was if you don’t get what it is you’re looking for. I’d probably say it isn’t what you’re looking for and the only way might be is to be more mindful when typing, like I have to be. I am a terrible typer. If you’re simply letting go of the shift key too early, that’s your fingers, not the keyboard.

What i am trying to do is delay the key stroke "when key is touched" at this time it is to quick and i don't get a capital upper case letter i just end up with a lower case letter.

You need to hold shift down and then press the character key, otherwise just use caps lock?

Mate I think you just need to not let go of the shift key too quickly. Like I said, mindful typing. I do it all the time, you’re not alone. I don’t believe there is a delay to change in this respect, once you let go of the shift key, it’s game over.
If there was a setting what would you change it to? You’d probably just end up with the next letter being a capital letter also

You are correct i am sure it's a problem of me not holding the shift key longer, i was in hopes there was some item i had not found to say delay the keys reaction an mili second.

You're just gonna have to exercise those pinky fingers.
Maybe lifting weights or something.

I am serious. There are pinky finger exercises for typists, pianists, etc. Just google it. ^^

The only difference is that the other fingers are stronger, so they react... faster.

I actually dont use my pinky to type, I’m a two finger typer so my ring finger gets the shift key
