So, the other day I was creating a new restore point and in the available drives section,
I saw this: BIOS_RVY. Now, from what I understand, this is the BIOS hidden partition.
What is it doing here > I usually see my T7 drive in this section. Can anyone tell me
what it is that has happened. I did a Full Restore with the original MSI recovery back
in June and every thing went well and everything works as it should. Just don't know
why this supposedly hidden partition should show up in this section. Anyone know?

Hi Glasskuter.
Yes, it should be a boot drive and hidden for a recovery operation but, what the heck is it doing in this section?
It should be for available drives and my T7 should be available not this folder.

My Dell recovery partition shows in system restore now. I can't swear to it but I do not think it has always shown up there.

I've just booted my GT73 and will see if this is normal for MSI. First time I've noticed this
and this is odd to have a hidden partition shown in this manner. Like i said, i usually see my
T7 in this section. This is how it should look

Wonder if it is a glitch specific to 22621.2134?

So, you updated to the latest preview. I guess I will see if this is still the same way
when MS decides to update the real one. My GT73 is up to date but, on W10 as
you can see from the screen, it is the way I always saw it. This is the first time I
have seen a hidden partition shown this way and no drive letter and a folder.

Not at all. If you clone it it's quite possible that the system on that cloned version will show the same hidden partitions.

But as long as the System Restore Protection is off for all those hidden partitions, nothing to worry about.

OK, that's more comforting than you know.
I just ordered a SK Hynix 2TB for the OS and have a Solidigm 2TB for the storage
along with a Acasis SSD Enclosure USB4. THis is quite an upgrade for this notebook
and I reaaaly don't want anything to go wrong.

BUT, the fact remains that I have no idea how this hidden partition got here.
I hope that next month's update fixes this.

TBH, I don't know either - I'm speculating that it might be the Windows 11 build itself, since you and I are on different builds. And this is reinforced by @glasskuter's screenshot, assuming her System Specs page is correct, as her system spec page also shows 22621.2134 as her current build.
