Not showing up for me either in 22621.1. But I suspect that is as intended.

It would appear that the 22621.3 build may be unchanged from 22621.1 apart from bumping up the minor build number. Those on Release Preview who have been offered the 22H2 Feature Update all seem to be getting build 22621.3, as in this post....

Not getting it on my Insider Preview which was from the H2 feature update which is now on 22621.1 or Beta also on 22621.1

Neither am I. As I said above, I think .3 may be the same build as .1, and only has a different number to show it was installed as a Feature Update for those in the Preview ring who were previously on 22000.

No, it's an fix for OEMs.

It has to do with the windows keys you have in your BIOS

BTW I decided to create a cab from UUP dump files and it installed fine.

All windows comes with default keys.

Is the keys you have that says to microsoft if you are OEM, CONSUMER, VOLUME, PRO, HOME and son on.

Is the keys you have, make the windows legal or ilegal.

There are no illegal windows (ISO, ESD...) 'as many people think there is', what exists is legal licenses.

You have a legal license 'key', your windows is activate in the otherwise is not, no matter what windows (ISO) you install.

Or from where it was downloaded.

You have a legal key for your windows version, your windows is activate.

And get updates as your windows has been identified by microsoft.

This is a simplified explanation, of course.

We know about the keys to activate Windows. I think the question was to find out what the OEM fix was for.

What is the rationale of a manual optional update on Insider versions?

Optional updates for RTM makes sense as a user might not want to risk upsetting a stable installation.

Whole point of Insider versions is to try things.

Can anybody ever remember an Insider cumulative update being optional?

What is fixed?

So far there are no public reports.

We know that it is for the OEMs because the files in update.

Sometimes the reports 'Logs' are internal and for partners of the Microsoft.

Not for public.
