Hello Windows Insiders, today we’re releasing Windows 11 Builds 26100.1297 (KB5040529) to Insiders in the Release Preview Channel on Windows 11, version 24H2 (Build 16100).

Below is a summary of the new features and improvements included as part of this update separated into two sections: gradual rollout and normal rollout. The bold text within the brackets indicates the item or area of the change we are documenting.

Gradual rollout​

These might not be available to all users because they will roll out gradually.

The CU installed fine on my system. Because of the gradual rollout none of the swanky new feature's MS is blowing their own horn about seem to be enabled yet. Not the first time they've done this. They've been promising those Lock Screen enhancements for months, still waiting.....

The irony is I had that feature in 23H2 - about a week before I upgraded to 24H2.
It's not back yet 🤣
