Hello guys! I’m back after doing some much more research of modifying windows 10. I have figured out how to change just the logo. (Sort of) the logo is located in bootres.DLL.

In bootres.DLL you can find 6 QR codes and 6 assorted windows logo images in differnt screen resolutions. By the my New Year’s resolution is (1920x1080). Lame joke I know. But here’s how I managed to open the bootres file. I changed from DLL to .wim now if someone has a dll to wim converter program that would be awesome. But when I opened the wim file using gimage x I just got an error message, so I used 7zip to open the wim file. It let me see the photos in the file. I tried the following, first I copied the windows logo files to a new folder on the desktop opened up paint.net and replaced the logo with the windows 7 boot screen logo. But that actully didn’t work. I couldn’t just replace the files back on the 7zip archive for what ever reason. I don’t remember what the error message was actually. Sorry. But if someone can find a way from here to open those images and replace them that be grate!

Oh and I also found where the boot spaces or the spinning dots is located. It’s in another directory I forgot the name of and the file is called bootspaces.DLL. I’m going to try opening the file in the wim or 7zip format to see if I can see the spinging gif and if I can great! Now I just got to get some one to code a bolt changer program for windows 10. Well that’s my update for today thanks.

I don't really advise messing with system files, but you can replace the images with resource hacker
