I am a newbie to Windows 11 Forum, and may I say thankyou for accepting me as a member.

Would it be possible to advise me on the following. My VPN is Lifetime Free VPN, and I have used Netherlands as the connecting country. When I disconnect and enter a website, part of, not every website site, is in Dutch. My system language is set to English so cannot understand this. Could you please advise how I can avoid this situation.

My system is 22h2.. OS Build 22621.1778.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I now use the United Kindom when needing the VPN.

Stefan here. Would it be a problem if you added a printscreen of any page you have problem with, as I'm not quite sure if I got it right? Also, is your web browser's default display language (for example: in Microsoft Edge you need to go to Settings / Languages) set to English only? Bye.

Hi Stefan.

Many thanks for your response. Please see attached. As you will note the left hand side is in English, however, the right hand side is in Dutch. It is not always a problem, just an annoyance. I have checked my Edge settings and all is ok with language in there.

thank you so much for a quick reply.
I could be completely mistaken, but it seems to me that the problem lies somewhere else.
Would you mind downloading a Firefox portable version (for example from here: Mozilla Firefox, Portable (browser) | PortableApps.com) and without making any changes in the settings check exactly the same page as you've just added to the forum (i.e. imdb) and see if anything changed?

thanks again.
There are 2 solutions:
1. change your default search engine (Settings / Privacy, search and services / Address bar and search / Search engine used in the address bar) to - let's say - Google, if you don't mind
2. check the settings in your Bing search engine (top right corner of the page, click on the three parallel bars, see the attached screenshot) and change it accordingly.
