Solved Laptop stand!

Hi,

I got a inexpensive/cheap metal stand with multiple elevations options.

Trying to get used to it. typing is a bit difficult but the touch pad is too snappy...

Or something like this, a patient is using...


In looks I like the Dell Keyboard better vs. Logitech, but the mouse feels a bit small in size.....???

I use the Logi MX bundle and can recommend it - especially as I have two devices, [Desktop and Laptop], that I use next to each other at times and can share the mouse and keyboard between the screens / devices automatically Using Logi Flow.

I see that the model you show is the MAC branded one, I would recommend that you look at the universal option that I use - as this has both MAC and Windows compatibility, with Keys laid out and marked for Both ( and also US & International keyboard support)

Also as it does not have any Apple or MAC logos printed it should not be subject to the apple tax and should be available at a lower price

Care to share the link of your universal setup, Logi MX bundle?

I did not actually buy mine as a bundle, I switched to Logi(Tech) Mice and keyboards exclusively exclusively quite a while ago, and already had the MX Master 3 Mouse ( along with a First & Second generation models) and then If I recall correctly included the MX keys with an order for a Desktop or laptop
Closest I can find is on Amazon UK for the keyboard

What I also do with various devices and hardware is add a separate collapsible "Riser" to allow a better typing angle ( a lot of modern keyboards and laptops do not ship with any adjustment for angle as was the norm a few years ago

I have these fitted on all my keyboards my laptop and even my Wacom Drawing tablets and find they make using the items a lot easier

I won't, but only as I have not used it, I have used dell hardware for many years and find it is normally excellent. (my current Laptop ( system 2 in my specs), is a Dell XPS, however when it comes to Mice and Keyboards I find that Logi are the best

Thanks. To be honest I like the Logi MX3 and Dell keyboard but Dell doesn't sell it separately..

There are a lot of Clones of the top end Keyboards and mice, you may be able to find something suitable as an alternative to the Dell on Amazon or Ebay

The thing to remember with places like Amazon is to read the reviews from those who own one - with the top end makes you can be sure they will be up to standard and backed by good support. This is not always true with cheaper alternatives, so you need to check carefully

I carry a PS2 adaptor and a basic wired USB mouse and keyboard, ( worth a couple of Dollars), with me if I go out on a call as I know that that will work even if the computer will not boot enough to load the drivers for an advanced Mouse or Keyboard

Anymore recommendations for wireless keyboard mouse. I like the Dell multi device premier combo, looks good no idea about performance.....


Its becoming difficult typing on the laptop's key board on the stand and mouse is responsive and not simple to use.

I recommend the Logitech MX bundle in a heartbeat!
The MX Master 3 is one of the highest quality, and highly configurable mice in it's class!
MX Keys is one of the most beautifully designed, quiet and smooth as silk chiclet keyboards I've ever owned!

And, an ever increasing array of options with the new Logitech Options+

You have the MX Keys Craft version, am I correct?

Mine is the international version of the standard Keyboard, No dial that you see on the Craft . What you can do is select the UK or US keyboard layout and the several keys that are in different locations Work correctly and the special keys include the Keys for PC use and MAC use (The Keycaps show all the symbols and functions where you would expect them to be when using a US or UK keyboard on either a PC or Mac



I have a Medium and a small Wacom Tablet, and their Expresskeys all of which provide me with a programmable dial, so decided against the extra cost of the Craft
