Windows 11
I have a MS Surface pro laptop running windows 11 home with two wireless printers. A BT business smart hub 2 provides internet and wireless network. All has been working fine for several months, however recently I had problems printing to wireless printers and mapped drives were no longer connected. I found that if I connect the laptop by cable to my router, printing and mapped drives become available. If I disconnect the cable and switch to wireless the printers become offline and mapped drives are not connected. If I reattach the cable everything comes back. I also have a spare laptop running Ubuntu, this works fine with the printers wirelessly or wired. I need to use windows for work and the wireless ability for printings and scanning is important, I don't think there is anything wrong with the wireless network given it works with a cable connection and on Ubuntu it just won't connect the laptop over wifi for the printers or mapped drive. Internet works fine on the laptop over wifi. Any advice appreciated.

Regards

I guess that somehow your wireless network is set to "public", so you cannot access shared resources. Go to Settings, Network and Internet, see at the middle top. If it says "public", click on it, change to "private" and you should be able to access your resources again.
