I have updated Firefox to latest version 106.0 64 Bit and when i started Firefox i noticed a separate entry of in All Programs from desktop Start menu Firefox Private Browsing.

I rarely use Private Browsing as my online Banking login procedure does not work properly so i carry on using normal Firefox for everything with custom settings for never remember history anyway.

What does Private Browsing actually do compared with normal Firefox never remember history settings ?

I've gotten 106 on both Win10 and Win11, see the same things. It's not yet being offered in Linux Mint Update Manager.

It's in addition to all the other ways to start private browsing, intended to be an easier way to get there......

...or use Ctrl+Shift+P in Firefox.
