Hey, i am working on a Lenovo ThinkCenter M91p ! It does not show a internet connection in the tray ! It does show a Realtek USB wireless lan utility so the only way i can get connected to the internet is with a cable from my router to the computer ! I have uploaded new drivers & just installed Windows 11 on it & no it wasn't showing a wireless connection before the upgrade to W11. Any idea on how to get an icon to show in system tray or hidden ??

Is it missing, or is it hidden if you click the arrow, or is there a blank icon with no image?

There is no icon to click on, no it's not hidden. Just a Realtek USB wireless lan utility icon, and it doesn't do anything when clicking on it ! I have downloaded drivers & replaced the Realtek USB wireless lan utility with a new one !

First let's identify if the wifi card is being seen and the wifi icon is just missing. You can go into settings and search wifi. Are you able to connect that way?

DMGrier, nothing ! I have checked that many times looking for a solution. I have run all kinds of trouble shooters & nothing ! Thanks but the wifi card is working, tried it in another computer !

Look in Settings > System > Notifications and see if you have the option to turn on the wireless icon on the Taskbar. Also, if your running the latest Dev build and StartAllBack the option isn't available.

It does show no rtl818x ............ isn't that for the drivers for the Realtek USB wireless lan utility ? I have uploaded all drivers from the Lenovo site & it says all drivers are up to date !

Have you had any luck getting your Wi-Fi adapter working? I'm wondering if the adapter is defective. If it is the adapter, you can find USB adapters relatively cheap. I looked in Amazon and there are many that are under $20.00 US.
