I looked at buying a WD Cloud today and a few other similar things and it made me wonder if there was a way to set up something without that specific piece of hardware that would work in the same way? I have a USB 3.0 WD My Book 4TB.....Is there any software that would make it work in the same way? I have tons of photos and I add new ones all the time and since Google killed the feature in Google Photos that doesn't sync your computer I have been wondering about an alternative. I had an Unlimited account using Amazon Photos that was working great until Windows 11 came on the scene and broke it. I don't mind paying for software if it's worth the price. I am backing up right now with Acronis but it does not have many features and won't do NAS. Any and all info would be appreciated.........
