Hello All,
I have an IPhone that is just about full. I think there is about 2Gb left against a 60Gb disk. I tried connecting the IPhone via a USB Cable and it was next to useless. It listed out a bunch of folders and each each was loaded with a bit of everything. I then tried ITunes and I found it frustrating as it is just a marketing tool. Why can't Apple just give us a dang File Explorerer! Oh, well... one of the many reasons I am a PC fan. I should probably go back to Android too but that is another story.
Here is what I would like in the IPhone to PC app. It does not have to be free for btw. I am willing to pay for something that is decent.
- Organize files by type, ie pictures, videos, etc
- Allow for grouping and massive (a bunch at the same time) transfer of files from my IPhone to my PC
- Back up Capability
- Ability to see by size which files are larger
Regarding the pictures, videos and backup, I have a WD MyCloud Mirror so I will probably transfer most of the pictures, videos, etc from my phone to my computer. It is easier to sort them there and delete the ones I don't want. I can also backup my IPhone on my computer vs iCloud which I find to be a pain. It would be nice to see which files are larger so I could focus my time on the larger files. Also, it would be nice to delete pictures and videos on the phone via the software vs transferring them to my PC and then deleting but this is just a nice to have.
I am running Windows 11 Home.
Thanks, Bill
