Many suspect emails I get on my iDevices have an unsubscribe link from the IOS mail service on the top left of the app. I will click on that but I am not brave enough to click on the bottom link in an email from @microsoft.russianhackerfishing.com

This is exactly what I mean. No matter how many times I "unsubscribe" from TechSmith (Snagit), they STILL send me junk...

Calling them does no good as they tell you - "we've fixed the issue and you should not receive any more emails", yet... :ffs:

No! You have to create filters as needed.

Right click>Create filter>Match all conditions>Save and Run.

You will not automatically get rid of Spam it does take some effort. i.e. for some months marking Spam, and on occasion Not Spam.

Why not make use of the filters and blocks provided my the major Free Email providers as detailed in post #18. In my experience that is very successful.

Decades ago my spam was around 10-20 per day on 1 Email Account, now that is close to zero(~2 per year total) on 6 Email Accounts.
