I have used Lotus 123 since the mid 1980's and have many spread sheets. Tried to install on a new PC which came with Win11 and was unable to do so. I have so many spreadsheets from over the years, Is there a way to install on a Win 11 computer

What about using the free online version of Excel, it should open the old spreadsheets. I think you need a Microsoft account, but that's also free.

Sorry, bad idea, Excel does not open Lotus files natively

I have Lotus SmartSuite 9.7 and 9.8 [not the older 97] running on x64/64-bit Win10 and Win11 computers, no issues for the basics but I haven't needed more yet. Also possible is the free LibreOffice, some 'fancier' macros may not work the same.

Welcome to Eleven Forum.

If your copy of Lotus 123 also dates back to the 80's then it is probably a 16 bit program. A 64 bit Windows can only run 32 and 64 bit apps.

The free LibreOffice can open and use your .wks, .wk1, etc. spreadsheet files in its spreadsheet program LibreOffice Calc.

It cannot save in the Lotus formats, but you can then save them in any other format you want.

fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022.
