Windows 11 Pro
Hi,

I have another PC Win 10 that I have been using Acronis True Image 2019 for whole disk, partition and folder backups for quite a while.

Unfortunately Acronis is starting to be become bloated with add-ons that I don't want/need.

So I am looking for an alternative solution for a new PC that will be arriving soon. The backups I want to do are:
- whole disk image backup (ie C: drive) on a weekly timeframe
- partition image backups for other drives on a weekly timeframe
- folder(s) backups on a scheduled timeframe

Been looking at Macrium Reflect Home as a possible replacement, so would like to hear feedback on this product in relation to what I want to achieve please

Thanks
Peter

You'll get no dissenting views about Macrium on here, most use it including me. I switched from Acronis and never looked back. It does exactly what it says on the tin

You will various opinions, but it seems to me that Macrium Reflect seems to have more fans than anything else here.

First, it's a solid, well made program. Also, it has a feature set that just can't be beat (for the paid version). Finally, Macrium reflect is quick about addressing any issue that may come up.

I like so many before me walked away from Acronis and have been using Macrium for quite a while now. If you're like me you'll end up buying it.

I have the commercial (paid) version of Reflect 8.0 Home; I do both image and folder backups. If I had to say something negative about the product, the interface isn't always intuitive, but once you set it up you can pretty much forget about it.

It is 20% off at moment.

Its greatest feature is Rapid Delta Restore. If you restore image where not too much has changed, it restores by difference and is really fast.
