I'm running Reflect X on my primary desktop. Roughly about 8 times over the past week it's complained about my license and I have had to select the option to transfer the license to my PC, although that license has never been used on a different computer.
At first I thought that the issue might be because I performed a lot of storage upgrades over the past few days. I have added about 50TB+ of storage.
However, that cannot be the cause because today twice in about 3 hours it has complained about my license and I have made no additional changes to my system.
I have already opened a ticket with Macrium, but I'm not sure if they respond on weekends so I simply thought that I would see if anyone here has encountered this issue and found a solution. The biggest annoyance of this is that I need to micromanage Reflect since this stops my scheduled backups from taking place.

I've seen this licencing issue reported, but not experienced it myself. The MAC address certainly seems implicated.
I've just switched my machine with a Reflect X licence from using WiFi to Ethernet, without apparently causing issues. While on Ethernet I re-registered its licence, then switched back to WiFi. Still no licencing issues. I'll keep an eye on it, but as you say, "may take a little while before I know for sure...".

I've done three clean installs since updating to Macrium Reflect X. Each time I chose the option "Remove License". After a clean install I then installed MRX using the same license key. I've not experienced any problem with asking for license key.

As an update, I used the Macrium utility and found that it was looking at my WiFi adapter for some reason. I changed it to my Ethernet adapter and have had no further issues.

To me it was real stupid for Macrium to base the license on MAC address considering most boards now have WiFi and Ethernet which will have different MAC.
Should have just based it off the motherboard ID or serial number.
In my location I can't get Wifi or Internet unless I want Huesnet which is a joke. So I run Hotspot from my T-mobile phone service. Since I ditched the small antenna that came with my Cell booster. I replaced it with a good Yagi antenna my signals are great! I don't know if that's why they keep messing with me or not. It doesn't do any good to remove license and uninstall like the tell you to do. They need to figure out a better method.
You need to know some basic commands.
Here is an example.
Save MIDCheck.exe to a folder or even the root of a drive.
Open a Command Prompt. Start Menu, then type CMD.
Browse to it using the CD command. (To change drives such as D drive, type D:)
You can view the contents of the folder by typing DIR, but it's not necessary.
Once you've browsed to the drive or folder containing MIDCheck.exe, type MIDCheck.exe > C:\MIDCheck_Report.txt
You'll find the MIDCheck Report in the root of C drive.
(You can change the location of the report if you wish.)
PS: Macrium need to fix this issue.
People shouldn't have to do this.
