Windows 11 Pro 23H2 (RP channel)
Latest version of Mail app on Windows 11, version 16005.14326.21490.0.

I noticed the other day that I don't get notifications of new email to my Outlook.com account, but I do get them for my other emails (UK virginmedia.com).
This has only been happening since about the middle of last week. If I open the Mail app I then see the notifications, which is pointless!

I've not changed any settings, the Mail app is set up the way it's always been. It is ONLY the Outlook email notifications I don't receive.

Here are a few quick troubleshooting suggestions:
  • Check Notification Settings: Ensure that notifications are enabled for your Outlook.com account in the Mail app's settings.
  • Restart the Mail App: Try closing and reopening the Mail app to see if it resolves the issue.
  • Sync Settings: Verify that the sync settings for your Outlook.com account are properly configured in the Mail app.
  • Update the Mail App: Check for updates for the Mail app in the Microsoft Store and install them if available.
  • Re-add the Outlook Account: If the problem persists, consider removing and re-adding your Outlook.com account to the Mail app.
Good luck!

App is upto date as of today. All the other settings are as they should be.

Tried resetting the app and adding the email address again, still no luck. Virgin media and Gmail notifications are working

I have similar problems with the Mail App notifications on 2 Laptops, 6 Email Accounts two of which are Outlook Email accounts.
Tried everything that has been listed and more. Seems to be Windows 10/11 notifications or connection to the Mail App. Been going on for many months.

I can only suggest sending your findings to the MS Feedback, sometimes things do get fixed, however that has not happened with the Mail App/notifications.

Win 10 Laptop:
1 Outlook Account no notifications, and in Windows 10 Settings > System > Notifications, a spurious instance under its old name, 1 missing account.
Win 11 Laptop:
2 Accounts Outlook & Yahoo no notifications, and in Windows 11 Settings > System > Notifications 2 missing accounts.

Not getting notification for Gmail now either, but the Virgin Media ones are fine. Weird.

That's for the Web Gmail, it's the Windows Mail app that's the problem. I only get notifications for Virgin media, not Outlook or Gmail. All were working recently, I've made no changes
