Make taskbar wider

Windows 11 Professional (x64) Version 24H2 (build 26100.4061)
I have a 42 inch monitor and the taskbar is way too small,i can see about1/3 of the icons size i have pinned on this bar,ive looked at the tasbar settings in personalisation and there is no option to widen the taskbar.
is it possible to make it bigger?

To my knowledge, currently there is no native way to adjust taskbar size except to adjust scale to a higher setting which affects everything on your screen, including taskbar, but I did read an option specifically affecting the taskbar is currently in one of the Windows Insider builds which means it will get to the masses soon, probably with the big yearly update in Oct.
Note: to adjust scale settings>system>display

As of right now, there may be a 3rd party app that can do this, but since I do not use such apps, I'm not one to advise you. I'm sure others who do use such apps will step in and tell you.

    Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 15 years?
ive tried the two options ,above but the taskbar remains tiny in comparison with the screen and the icons remain as 1/3 visible.enclosd is what i see.

Try turning ON & OFF “Optimize taskbar for touch interaction”

Toggle it ON and OFF a few times and see if it corrects itself.
It doesn’t matter that it isn’t a touch screen, do it anyway.

This worked,changing it to 125% ,i can now see the pinned apps and the taskbar its bigger,much appreciateed for yours and everyone who helped me sort this annoyance,heres what i see now compared to the first post.

I'd like to know how you reduce the size of the taskbar, mine seems wider than necessary, I see everything with the default settings.

@McGoo That taskbar is offscreen, has to do with screen/monitor. Do you have buttons on the screen/monitor itself to get into the menu? There you should be able to adjust the size / position of the screen. It is not a setting in windows.
edit: if it is a tv. adjust it trough your remote control to go to settings of your tv.

There’s a slight chance you are correct but in my opinion it’s best to exhaust other options first. Entering the OSD can cause issues with easily, accidentally changeable variables for a monitor. Especially for a novice.
This has been an issue in various posts on the web that generally get fixed by playing with resolution, display & taskbar settings.

Looks like an LG monitor

There is a slight chance that what @Tester mentioned about the Monitor OSD could be correct, but rather than play with it, I’d just “reset” the monitor settings via the monitors OSD

@McGoo what is the LG Monitor model? It might be on the front bottom left or right of the monitor bevel.
