OS
Windows 11
It seems like some things I too would like to change in 11 gets overridden with new code by MS as soon as people start to complain about it. Like, "seconds display in task bar," or "File Explorer ribbon" and so on. Maybe we should hide our wants from MS somewhere and fix them without their knowledge?

Got ya covered...

Unfortunately, since Microsoft wrote the OS you're using to view this site... you can't really hide anything from them. They don't "need" to crack ElevenForum to read our discussions... they can read things as you type them... if they want.

One OS to rule them all,
One OS to find them,
One OS to bring them all,

And in the darkness, bind them.

Like, "seconds display in task bar,"
It's already in the Dev build, by popular request.....

In response to user feedback, we are introducing the capability to show seconds in the clock on the system tray.....

Why not just stick to Windows 10?
You will have the genuine features, instead of risking the stability of your installation with third party stuff.
